Ibagué, First Capital City In Colombia To Prohibit Polluting Mining

With 14 votes in favour, the plenary of the City Council of Ibagué has approved Agreement 012 “whereby measures are to be taken for the preservation and defense of the ecological and cultural heritage of the Municipality of Ibagué” by banning mega-mining.
