To respond to changes and growth in the ICCA Consortium’s membership, our global team in the Secretariat is also expanding. We are very happy to welcome three new team members, each of whom is highly skilled and deeply committed to our collective work in the ICCA Consortium. They will provide leadership and support for diverse aspects of our operations, including administration, events and personnel, and accompany our association through the next season of its organisational life.

Deborah Mowesley (from Kenya) joined the ICCA Consortium’s Secretariat at the beginning of March 2024 to take on a new role as Administration and Events Coordinator. She will work very closely with Xaviera Elorza whose title has been amended slightly to Administration and Membership Coordinator.

Roger Palma (from Nicaragua) joined the ICCA Consortium’s Secretariat in mid-March 2024 to take on a new role as Internal Team Support Co-coordinator (title TBC). He will focus on contracting with and supporting personnel, facilitating peer review and feedback processes within the Secretariat, organising formal and informal opportunities for relationship building, peer learning and exchange, and leadership/professional development.

Diana San Jose (from the Philippines) joined the ICCA Consortium’s Secretariat in early April 2024 to take on a new role as Internal Team Support Co-coordinator (title TBC). She will focus on working with the rest of the Secretariat to document, articulate and continuously improve our internal systems and processes in line with our organisational culture and desired ways of working together.

We invite you to join us in warmly welcoming Deborah, Roger and Diana in their new roles in the Secretariat!
