About thirty people affiliated with the ICCA Consortium attended Jeju for the Vth IUCN WCC. The Consortium organised and attended a wide range of Forum events to increase awareness and critical discussion of ICCAs and to establish new partnerships and show solidarity with indigenous peoples, local communities, and their supporting organisations around the world.
The Consortium also participated in the Members’ Assembly to ensure that key issues at the heart of ICCAs were appropriately addressed in IUCN Resolutions and Recommendations and 2013-2016 Programme.
