Members, honorary members, and allies from the Mesoamerican subregion gathered in Guatemala City from February 6 to 7 to discuss priorities for 2026. Indigenous peoples and local communities assert their role in conservation at the IUCN African Protected and Conserved Areas Congress
In July 2022, the ICCA Consortium was present at the first African Protected and Conserved Areas Congress (APAC-Congress), organised in Kigali under the aegis of the IUCN.
